The city of Long Beach, California, took swift action after a cyberattack reported on November 14th. Portions of the IT network were temporarily shut down to prevent the attack’s spread.
With a population of around 460,000, Long Beach is the seventh most populous city in California. The incident prompted the city to engage a cybersecurity firm for investigation and notify the FBI.
